STTT One Player is a product of Shop Therapy TT, which is responsible for the information described here. This page explains, in plain words, what STTT One Player (the app) and the reseller portal collect and why. Contact us with any question or to ask for your information to be corrected or removed:
What stays on your device
Your playlists, library, favourites, watch history, profiles and settings are stored on your own device. The app plays streams straight from your IPTV provider; they do not pass through our servers, and we do not see what is in your playlist.
What the app tells our licence server
- A device ID and a secret key the app creates, so a licence belongs to one device.
- The platform (Windows, Android phone or Android TV), the app version, the device's name and model, and basic connection information such as the network type.
- Your internet address (IP address) at each check-in. It is used to keep licences from being shared widely and to protect the service, and it is deleted after a limited number of days.
- Optionally, what is playing and playback problems, to help your provider fix streams. When this is switched on the app says so in its Account screen.
- Messages you send to your provider from the app, and the app's own log if you or your provider ask for it to help with a problem.
What the licence server holds for your provider
If your provider or reseller sets up a playlist for you, its address and login are held on the server so they can be sent to your device. Resellers can also keep a record of their customers (name, phone, e-mail, notes, invoices). That information is entered by the reseller and is used only to run the service they provide to you.
The reseller portal and this website
Signing in to the portal uses a username and password; the portal keeps a short-lived session in your browser while you are signed in and records sign-ins (time and address) for security. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The community chat
The chat at /community is for devices with an active licence or a free trial. To join you sign in with your device ID and a one-time code from the app, and choose a display name. We keep that display name linked to your device ID, the messages, pictures and voice notes you post (in rooms you are in), which rooms you own or belong to, and reports, warnings and moderator actions about you.
Your profile is optional. You can add a profile picture (shrunk to a small square in your browser, so the camera's location data is removed), your gender (male or female), your age, and a short About line. Everything you add is shown to other people in the chat, so only add what you are happy to share; you can change or remove it at any time. You can also choose to show a badge with how long you have been a paying customer; it is off unless you turn it on. Trial and subscriber status, and a badge for site admins, moderators and room owners, are shown next to names. Other people in the chat only ever see your display name and what you chose to show, never your device ID.
Site admins can enter and read every room, including private and locked ones, and may do so without appearing in the member list. Owners and moderators of a room, site moderators and the site admin can mute, remove or ban people, send warnings and take messages down; a ban applies to the physical machine, so it follows you to another device ID. Messages you delete or that are taken down are hidden from the chat but may be kept for a while so reports can be checked. Voice notes and pictures cannot be checked automatically, so they are only looked at when someone reports them. Do not share anything private in the chat: rooms are not encrypted, and the people in a room can read and hear what you post there. To have your chat name, profile, messages, pictures or voice notes removed, contact us.
Who can see it
Your reseller (or provider) can see the devices and customers they look after. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
You can remove the app and its data from your device at any time. Ask your provider or us to correct or delete the information held about you on the server.
